Admittedly, the original Galaxy Gear isn’t the best smartwatch available right now (it never was the best), but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a decent device. It puts your notifications on your wrist, lets you take calls and interact with apps, and even has a built-in camera.

In addition, Samsung just brought its latest Tizen update to this device, adding new features and making a number of nice improvements. I recently used a Galaxy Gear for several months and I was pleasantly surprised by it. It proved to be much more useful than I was anticipating — particularly while I was in the car or on the go.
