The Moto X+1 is still a couple of months away from launch, but the alleged specs of the handset seems to have leaked on the Internet, thanks to a Brazilian retailer.

This is the same retailer who leaked the Moto E specs two days before its official unveiling, so even though the website in question looks shady, there is some credibility to this leak.

According to the leak, the Moto X+1 will sport a 5.2-inch 1080p display — a substantial jump over the current 4.7-inch screen on the Moto X. Other specs include a Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot. There is a 12MP camera on the back along with a 5MP shooter in the front for all your selfie needs. The handset will also pack a massive 2900mAh battery, which should help the Moto X+1 to easily last more than a day under heavy usage.

The Moto X+1 is rumored to launch sometime in August this year, so expect the leaks about the device to increase in the coming few weeks.

While these specs don’t really sound high-end, Motorola devices are all about delivering great usability and performance even when they are powered by modest hardware under the hood. With just the right amount of new software goodies and pricing, the Moto X+1 can easily turn out to be the best Android smartphone released this year.
