Google Workshop will allow users to create custom cases for their smartphone
It looks like Google is all set to take accessories and customization to the next level with a new tool called Google Workshop. According to the reliable sources of Android Police, Google Workshop will allow users to create custom cases and live wallpapers for their devices.
In its current state, Workshop supports only the Nexus 5 and it is not yet known whether support for additional devices before the service is launched or not. Google Workshop is broken down into two parts: MapMe and Moments.
While the former will allow users to create a live wallpaper or a case design based on their specified location, the latter will allow them to base their case design on any image uploaded by them. Google will also offer some suggestions to the user along with some tools to manipulate an image to their liking.
While Google is already done with most of the tools and the interface for Worskshop, it is not yet known as to when the company plans on releasing it to the public.
