Today’s selection for our weekly Wednesday’s Must Have Game column is Asphalt 8: Airborne, it originally launched for Android back in 2013, and has since racked up a bunch of hefty updates crammed full of great features —  helping to make it one of the best and most advanced racing games currently available on the market.

Your objective when playing this game is simple just grab the keys to any one of the 47 brand new high-performance cars at your disposal, execute dynamic high-speed aerial stunts, and win the race, there are no rules — so you can ram your opponents off the road, or smash their cars to smithereens if you prefer; the choice is yours.

If you don’t fancy engaging in a traditional ‘Quick Race’, and you hanker for something a bit more comprehensive you can always enter into a realistic 8-season Career Mode fixture with over 180 real-life racing events. Alternatively, you could have some fun with your friends, thanks to the implementation of simultaneous multiplayer (up to 8 opponents).
