Today’s choice for our weekly Wednesday’s Must Have Game column is entitled Plague Inc. It originally launched for Android back in March, 2013, and has since racked up a bunch of hefty updates crammed full of great features — helping to make it one of the best and most advanced strategy games currently available on the market.

When playing Plague Inc. you take on the role of a ‘master scientist’ who’s initial mission is to develop a relatively simple pathogen to infect your first victim. Once Patient Zero has been contaminated, you will need to upgrade your disease and develop various ways to spread it across fifty American, Asian and European countries, infecting everyone with the plaque along the way.

As the game progresses humans become immune to your contagious bacterial disease. That’s where the points you earn for every person you infect come into play. You will need to spend these points in order to develop characteristics for your deadly pathogen, which will dramatically increase the plagues strength; so you can kill more people over a larger surface area, in a shorter space of time.
