Verizon’s HTC One M8 to receive the Android 4.4.3 update from September 10
HTC One M8 owners on Verizon, here is some news to cheer you up. HTC’s Vice President of Product Management, Mo Versi, has announced on Twitter that the Android 4.4.3 update for your handset will start rolling out from September 10th.
The Android 4.4.3 update for the One M8 does not really bring much to the table except for some bug-fixes, security patches and minor improvements here and there.
However, for the Verizon variant of the One M8, the update will also include the Extreme Power Saving mode, which HTC had unveiled back when it announced the One M8 earlier this year.

The feature was available right out of the box on the EU version of the handset, but was missing from the carrier variants in the United States. While HTC was quick to add this feature to all the carrier variants of the M8, Verizon decided it wanted to take its own sweet time in bringing this feature to its variant of the device.
The Android 4.4.3 update for the Verizon One M8 was initially scheduled to go out in mid-August but had to be pushed back because of some GPS issues in the final build.
