New Pokémon Masters details will be revealed this week
The Pokémon Company will reveal new information about upcoming mobile game Pokémon Masters this week.
Its first presentation since the game was confirmed ahead of E3 is just a couple of days away. We know very little about it so far, but we have been promised battles against Pokémon Trainers from the main RPG series.
Pokémon Masters is one of three Pokémon titles already confirmed for 2020. It is perhaps the most exciting for mobile players, since it’s the only one that promises Pokémon battles on smartphones and tablets.
But the details are incredibly light for now. A name and a very short description of the game were all we got when The Pokémon Company confirmed it last month. We’re expecting to find out a lot more this week.
8 minutes of juicy details
The Pokémon Company will stream a presentation on Thursday, June 27. It will be approximately eight minutes long, and it will focus entirely on Pokémon Masters. We’re expecting juicy new details and a more specific launch date.
The presentation will kick off at 6 a.m. PT, or 2 p.m. for those in the U.K. You can watch the whole thing right here — or on The Pokémon Company’s official YouTube channel.
In addition to Pokémon Masters, 2020 will see the release of Pokémon Sleep, a new game that lets you train Pokémon while you snooze, and Pokémon Home, an app that will let you send all your Pokémon to the cloud.
Don’t worry if you won’t be around to watch the stream; we’ll cover all the details here on Cult of Mac as soon as they’re confirmed.
