So far, Google’s experiments in virtual reality have mostly been done through Cardboard, the search giant’s super-cheap device that can convert any smartphone into a VR rig.

But Cardboard isn’t the limit to Google’s ambitions, with the Wall Street Journal today reporting that the company is developing a standalone virtual reality headset.

So long, Samsung! According to a new report, TSMC will be the only manufacturer of A10 chips for the iPhone 7.

We’ve heard a lot about the Samsung Galaxy S7 in the past few months. We know it will look like the Galaxy S6, but have big spec bumps , a better camera and battery. It’ll probably rip-off some of the new iPhone’s best features, and arrive in March.

But when in March? We now have an exact date, from reputable leaker of Android smartphone news. Expect the Samsung Galaxy S7 to land in the ides of March, roughly around the same time as Apple is expected to unveil its latest iPhone, the iPhone 5se.

Factory Reset Protection (FRP) is a measure on certain Android smartphones that prevents thieves from bypassing security features to initiate a factory reset on a stolen device, and therefore shut out attempts by the original owner to recover it.

Good idea, but LG and Samsung smartphones have already had their FRP bypasses… and now the FRP of the Nexus 6P, 5X, 6, and 5 have also been rendered moot.

We’ve heard for years that Apple could incorporate OLED displays into next-generation iPhones, but over the past few months, those rumors have ramped up, suggesting that the power-sipping display technology could land as early as the iPhone 7.

Now, a new report buttresses those rumors, saying Apple is close to finalizing a supply agreement with Samsung and LG to give future iPhones OLED displays.
