Today Sprint announced that it has teamed up with Samsung to develop a rather unique variant of the South Korean company’s most-recent tablet — the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. What’s different about it? I hear you ask. Well, it’s the first slate on the market to feature support for the carrier’s tri-band Spark LTE technology, which guarantees users a significantly faster data transfer speed.

Samsung has just applied for a trademark on the name “Galaxy Note Edge” for what could possibly be the recently-rumored curved variant of the Note 4. The handset’s believed to boast a single display that wraps around its edges — so, by all accounts, it certainly seems like it would be a rather fitting name.

Sony’s upcoming scaled-down variant of its yet-to-be announced flagship smartphone has been the talk of the town for a while now. So far we’ve seen it pass through the Federal Communications Commission, show up in a bunch of leaked product shots, and just this morning was the subject of seven images allegedly revealing the handset’s side, back and top panels.
