Today’s app of the week, Hootsuite, made its debut appearance on the Google Play Store last year and has been recognized as one of the most elegant, user-friendly, secure and feature-packed third-party Twitter clients ever since. So, consequently, we’ve decided to bring it its very own review here at Cult of Android.

Google-Now-cards

Google Search has received a pretty nifty server-side update in the Play Store, which transports a great new attribute to the Google Now service —  the ability for users to set a timer without even having to touch their smartphone or tablet.

LG has announced its first official accessory for the G3, its upcoming flagship smartphone of 2014, which is expected to break cover next Tuesday, May 27. The add-on, dubbed the  ‘QuickCircle’ case, is pretty similar to Samsung’s S-View case, giving users easy access to information whilst their device is locked and protected.

 

Sonic Episode II HC

Today’s choice for our weekly Wednesday’s Must Have Game column is entitled Sonic 4 Episode II, which originally launched for PlayStation 2 back in May, 2012, and has since been digitally remastered for use on all Android-powered smartphones and tablets.

Apex launcher

For today’s Tuesday Tweak, we’re focusing our attention on a very flexible third-party launcher named Apex, which incidentally recently passed the five million installations milestone. This application supplies its users with the ability to completely alter the appearance of the software on their device and is available to download on any smartphone or tablet running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or higher.
