It’s Sunday, the time of the week when Cult of Android brings you its report of some of the very best apps we have been using throughout the past week, and today we are focusing our attention on a very elegant alarm clock app, a great tablet security tool, a gorgeous live wallpaper and a time tracking widget.

Google Now is one of the most powerful tools currently available for any Android user. It allows us to set reminders, send text messages, compose emails, place calls, read news articles, view the weather and much much more, all without having to use our hands.

Something that you may not be aware of, though, is that the application permits users to cancel auto-renewing memberships with the aid of two simple words and one tap on the screen.

Two days ago, a CPU-Z document appeared online disclosing the internal infrastructure of HTC’s upcoming Nexus tablet — codenamed ‘Volantis’. Now, today, the slate has popped up in the AnTuTu benchmark database corroborating everything we’ve heard about the device’s impressive specifications.

Last week, Humble Bundle launched its latest ‘pay what you want’ deal with six fantastic Sega games up for grabs. Now the team are rolling out an update for its official Android application which brings the inclusion of two more games to its lineup, as well as a limited edition live wallpaper.
