Yesterday, thanks to some leaked press renders, we got our first glimpse at OnePlus One final design and its StyleSwap covers. Now, a staff of the OnePlus team has posted some screenshots of the flavoured version of CyanogenMod that the handset would be running.

For its price, Amazon’s Kindle Fire range of tablets provide a great bang for buck. Sadly, they ship with a locked down bootloader and Amazon’s own Fire OS that lacks the usual Google Play suite of apps and services. The locked down bootloader means that it can take developers quite a while to get stable custom ROMs up and running on them.

Case in point being Amazon’s 2012 line-up of Fire HD 7-inch and 8.9-inch tablets that have finally received official CyanogenMod 11 nightlies.

Koushik Dutta a.k.a Koush, today, rolled out an update for AllCast that adds support for Amazon’s Fire TV. This update will allow AllCast users to mirror the content of their Android devices to Amazon’s Fire TV as well as beam music, videos and photos to it.

For a relatively small startup and a new company, OnePlus has managed to create quite a hype around their product – the OnePlus One. Instead of unveiling the full specs of the handset at its launch event, the company slowly announced all the main features of the handset creating quite a hype around it. The only thing that it has kept under wraps is the design, which the company states is going to be the highlight of the device.

Today, thanks to some leaked press renders, we have our first glimpse at the OnePlus One, which shows off the minimalistic design of the handset.

HTC has been trying to re-invent mobile cameras using its UltraPixel camera sensors in its flagship handsets. While the company’s effort has not been appreciated by all, it is definitely heading in the right direction.

Now, in an interview with Vodafone U.K., HTC’s camera expert, Symon Whitehorn, revealed some interesting tidbits about the future of UltraPixel and how the smartphone camera scene is going to change dramatically in the next 12-18 months.
