Nexus-5-camera

The 8MP Optically Stabilised Camera (OIS) on the Nexus 5 can produce some stunning shots but is let down by the terrible Camera app. The Google Camera app barely provides users with any manual control and is a pain to use with its unintuitive UI.

Taking things into his own hands developer Jishnu Sur has managed to port the Camera app of the LG G2 to the Nexus 5.

We are all a sucker for good deals on apps and games available on the Play Store. Even though these apps cost less than a cup of coffee, we patiently wait for them to go on sale so that we can buy them at half their price.

This is what makes Humble Bundle so popular, as it allows users to buy a bundle of games at any price they want, which in turn helps indie developers as well as charities. Today, the Humble Bundle team announced the Humble Mobile Bundle 5 that contains 6 quality games which you can buy at any price you want to pay.

Last year, LG surprised everyone with the design of the LG G2. The handset barely had any bezel that allowed the Korean company to fit in a bigger screen inside a relatively small body. Most consumers are expecting that LG will be able to further reduce the bezel space on the G2’s successor.

Now, thanks to @evleaks, we now have a couple of leaked images of the LG isai FL, which might very well be based on the G3 and gives us the first look at the handset’s design.

HTC-One-M8-press

The HTC One (M8) comes with quite a few software gimmicks and novelties including Motion launch gestures. These gestures allow users to directly launch the camera or even wake it up by simply double tapping on the screen even when the device is sleeping, However, unlike the LG G2, the M8 does not allow users to put it to sleep by double tapping on the screen, which means they have to press the awkwardly located power button on the top.

Sony-Xperia-Z2

On paper, the Xperia Z2 sports the same 20.7MP Exmor RS sensor with an F/2.0 G Lens camera as its predecessor — the Xperia Z1. However, Sony has made a lot of underlying changes and tweaked its image processing algorithms to deliver better performance with its latest flagship handset. Initial reviews of the handset suggest that the Xperia Z2 camera can stand its own against the likes of the HTC One (M8), Samsung’s Galaxy S5 and the LG G Pro 2.
