Expedia launched an all new updated mobile app today for both Android and iOS. Bringing new flight info, an updated interface to browse and search across hundreds of hotel properties and airline flights, and special mobile-only deals. The updated app is only available in the US at this time, and brings functionality closer in line with Expedia’s web-based features.

Pulse, the social-news aggregator for Android and iOS, has been updated to version 3.0, and it’s a doozy. On iOS, it’s been upgraded to a universal app, so no more separate versions on your different devices.

The developers behind the app have redesigned things, promising a better, more interactive interface, a ton of new features, and a prettier front end.

Grand Theft Auto III is a landmark game, one of the first hot topic video games of the past decade, getting banned from Walmart when released. It was also one of the first open world 3D games, as well, making waves in and influencing the game design industry for years to come. The mobile 10th Anniversary Edition for Android and iOS was released in December of 2011 at a $4.99 price point.

Today, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of sequel Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Rockstar Games has dropped the price to $0.99 across Google Play and the iTunes App Store, making this well-regarded game all the more easy to purchase. It’s only available for a limited time, though, so get it while the gettin’s good.

It’s not a whole lot to go by, but this image surfaced on the Dead Trigger Facebook page, teasing the existence of a Halloween update for the Android and iOS zombie shooter, Dead Trigger. Will you be fighting pumpkin-head zombies?

Now Best Buy is getting into the tablet space with it’s own Insignia Flex tablet, reported to be based on Android and run a dual-core 1GHx processor with a 9.7-inc screen and 10-hour battery life. Best Buy plans to sell this tablet for $239 – $259, says Reuters. This puts the massive consumer electronics chain in direct competition with Google, Apple and Amazon, which should seriously shake things up.
