Straight out of the playbook of my wife’s life, Google nailed a commercial depicting real-world use of the Google Search app. If I had a dollar for every time one of my kids mentioned a school project or activity last minute, I’d be enjoying a Mai Tai in Hawaii.

As promised, the HTC DROID DNA is now available on Verizon for the subsidized price of $199.99. There’s a lot I like about this device, however, I simply can’t get past the 16GB internal storage with no room for expansion thanks to the lack of microSD. 16GB just isn’t enough for me but I know it’s just fine for many of you (just look at N4 sales).

We simply love wallpapers. They’re one of the first changes we make to our Android devices and often represent our moods, interests, or wicked alter egos. They’re as unique as the individuals who use them and while some people pick one and stick with it, others change them more often than a teenager’s Facebook status. Each day we’re going to feature a free wallpaper for you to download and use on your Android device. Depending on your device, you may want to use your favorite photo editing software to resize the image for a better fit. Once that’s done, apply and enjoy. Your home screen can thank us later. Cheers!

‘Tis the season for deals! We’re fast approaching Black Friday, a dark day in humanity when Americans trample each other in an attempt to score a free Emerson DVD player. I’m certainly not interested in camping out in front of a store, however, I am interested in knowing what kind of deals will be offered on our beloved Android devices.

If you’re a Comcast subscriber and have been using the XFINITY TV Player app on Android or iOS, there’s a sweet little update waiting for in your respective app market. Sometimes the only thing getting in the way of enjoying one of your favorite TV shows or movies on your mobile device is a bad connection or no WiFi. Thankfully, Comcast is taking care of this issue by allowing users to download some of their favorite content straight to their device to be viewed at a time when a connection may not be available.
