‘Tis the season for deals! We’re fast approaching Black Friday, a dark day in humanity when Americans trample each other in an attempt to score a free Emerson DVD player. I’m certainly not interested in camping out in front of a store, however, I am interested in knowing what kind of deals will be offered on our beloved Android devices.

Amazon Wireless always offers up a great deal on some of the latest and greatest Android devices. In fact, they’ve just recently dropped the price of the LG Optimus G on AT&T and Sprint to a fantastic $99 with 2-year contract. That’s a cool $100 off the usual subsidized price for a device that’s essentially a souped up Nexus 4 (minus Android 4.2 and the stock experience). I’d take the Optimus G over the Nexus 4 any day and twice on Sundays if it had stock Android, and I’m betting there’s a bunch of you thinking the same thing.

Cloud storage service provider Box teamed up with LG a while back to offer up 50GB of free storage to those using LG phones and tablets in the U.S. running Android OS 2.1 and above (with display resolution of 320×480 or higher). Since that promotion doesn’t expire until December 31, 2012 and the Nexus 4 is an LG device, anyone in the US with a Nexus 4 is officially eligible for the free 50GB Box Personal account.

Another Sunday, another chance to win some cool Android swag. Last week we were giving away an Android canvas print and today we’re going to announce the lucky winner, as well as give you a chance to win some new swag.

The disappointing storage capacity being offered in a few high profile Android devices *cough* Nexus 4/DROID DNA *cough* has Android users running for the cloud. Anyone who’s sought out cloud storage services has undoubtedly stumbled across Dropbox.
