HTC managed to give virtually no information in their update on the progress of Jelly Bean as it pertains to previously released devices. Every mobile scapegoat word known in the industry was used: internal testing, carrier expectations, performance, connectivity and platform stability, carrier partners, actively reviewing, optimal user experience, localization, partner approvals, etc…

The Jelly Bean touting Galaxy Camera from Samsung is finally making its way to AT&T. Announced back in August, this Samsung smartcamera features both 3G and 4G connectivity (with a data plan) as well as the buttery smooth Android 4.1 operating system. Set to hit shelves this Friday, AT&T will be offering the Galaxy Camera for $499.99 with or without a data plan.

Apple And HTC Form Patent Truce

In a surprise turn of events, Apple and HTC have decided to end all ongoing patent disputes in favor of a 10-year licensing agreement. This is the exact kind of resolution courts around the globe have been hoping for from Apple and in fact, have begged for from Apple and Samsung. While there appears to be no such truce in store for Samsung and Apple, this latest bit of news at least shows hope of Apple scaling back on its patent crusade.

I Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday. If not, we’ll try our best to make it better. Last week we were giving away three Android magnet sets and today we’re going to announce the lucky winners, as well as give you a chance to win some new swag.

We simply love wallpapers. They’re one of the first changes we make to our Android devices and often represent our moods, interests, or wicked alter egos. They’re as unique as the individuals who use them and while some people pick one and stick with it, others change them more often than a teenager’s Facebook status. Each day we’re going to feature a free wallpaper for you to download and use on your Android device. Depending on your device, you may want to use your favorite photo editing software to resize the image for a better fit. Once that’s done, apply and enjoy. Your home screen can thank us later. Cheers!
