Acer

Acer isn’t exactly known for its tablets around the world. It has tried its hand with a few large sized devices over the past few years since the Honeycomb days, but has failed to leave a mark on our minds. So in order to make a lasting impact on the market, the Taiwanese manufacturer has been launching a number of budget tablets. The most recent of these is called the Iconia One 7 which has now made its way to the FCC.

Xperia T2 Ultra

Sony devices traditionally launch exclusively via T-Mobile in the U.S. And we recently saw the Xperia T2 Ultra carrying T-Mobile’s bands making its way to the FCC. This smartphone with the model number D5316 has now been cleared by the authorities and could be launching soon.

AT&T Padfone X

The AT&T Padfone X has been quite a mystery even though it was officially announced back in early January. However, the carrier has now made an effort to demystify certain aspects of this smartphone + tablet hybrid by posting specifications of the device.

ZTE Grand S II

The beauty of Android is that manufacturers can innovate in terms of hardware with complete liberty. We’ve seen this happening with camera sensors, processors and even RAM modules of late. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was the first to push the envelope with 3GB of RAM and now we’re hearing that Chinese manufacturer ZTE could take it even further with 4GB of RAM for its upcoming smartphone.

Jolla Sailfish

The Jolla Sailfish OS from the makers of MeeGo has long been expected to make its way to users of the LG Nexus 4. The company has now rolled out an early adopter version of this OS meant for users of the 2012 Nexus smartphone. This will basically give users a very early preview of the new OS and will help better understand its functioning.
