Lenovo

A new report out of Taiwan suggests that Chinese manufacturer Lenovo could soon become the next big thing in the Android industry. It is said that the company is on its way to overtake LG to claim the No. 2 spot as the leading Android smartphone manufacturer. The sources credit the acquisition of Motorola Mobility for the expected surge in marketshare.

Galaxy Grand 2

Samsung has just launched a modified version of the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 handset with LTE-A networks for its home region of South Korea. The smartphone was launched back in November last year with a 5.25 inch 720p display and a quad core processor. This variant also packs double the storage at 16GB instead of 8GB as on the standard variant.

Google Now

The Google Search app on Android has just received an update with some new features in tow. Users can now get improved information on sports teams including cricket and better support for cards relating to stocks. Other changes include better image search which now includes a ‘View in Browser’ option in addition to ‘Share’ and ‘Visit Page’.

HTC One

The new HTC One is all set to be unveiled on the 25th of March, but if you’re still in the market for the company’s 2013 flagship, this might be worth a look. The Taiwanese manufacturer is now offering the unlocked HTC One for just $499, which is a discount of $100 over the original asking price.

Angry Birds Epic

Rovio Mobile recently teased the arrival of the newest installment to the Angry Birds franchise, known as Angry Birds Epic. Today, we’re gathering information that this game could actually be a turn-based RPG or role playing game, which is unlike all Angry Birds games that we’ve played so far.
