Sprint has announced the first of many LTE smartphone offerings to compliment their new 4G LTE network. The first to make its debut, is none other than the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. We can’t say we didn’t see this one coming, especially after its accidental leak in an online ad. They didn’t release a full on spec list of the Sprint Galaxy Nexus but it does appear to be a smaller 16GB model and will include Google Wallet (something Verizon felt the need to leave out). Along with the Galaxy Nexus tease comes the announcement of another LTE smartphone for Sprint, the LG Viper.

In a surprise turn of events, ASUS announced a newer Transformer Prime model, the TFT700T. This newer model seems to have numerous identical specs as its original, with the only discernible difference being the new back panel design (to help with GPS issues). There’s also the newer 1920 x 1200 Super IPS+ display and better front facing camera (2MP), but other than that, it’s the Transformer Prime TF201. I’m not entirely sure why the found the need to release such an “upgrade” so soon, and I’m sure this will make many TF201 owners quite unhappy, but I guess we can’t complain about having more choices — can we? Along with the surprising news of a newer Transformer Prime model, we finally get some more information on the ASUS Eee Pad MeMO.

At LG’s press event today, LG announced its new lineup of Smart TVs featuring Google TV. Not much was detailed about the LMG860 and LMG620, but both will feature Google TV integration as well as LG’s own Smart TV setup. Just as I predicted, more native integration of Google TV, and I couldn’t be happier. I can’t wait until it almost becomes standard to have a TV with GTV, but until then, let’s just enjoy what CES has to offer. Alongside their Smart TV announcement, came the announcement of their newest 4.5″ True HD IPS display smartphone, the LG Spectrum.

Huawei has announced two new smartphones at CES, one of which boasts the title “World’s thinnest smartphone.” Introducing the Ascend P1 and the Ascend P1 S (not much time was spent coming up with those names). The Ascend P1 S (we’re assuming the “S” stand for “slim”) claims the fame of “Worlds’ thinnest smartphone,” and measures a thickness of only 6.68mm. The Ascend P1 is basically the same phone only a tad thicker (perhaps for the LTE market and a larger battery) and both feature:
