Popular third party app store GetJar is holding its own holiday sale for the month of December. They’ve put up a dedicated site with a scrollable list of paid apps from A to Z which have been discounted to the low price of — free! With over 100 apps to choose from, you’ll find many popular titles have been discounted. I quickly skimmed over the list and was surprised to find hits like Age of Zombies, Beautiful Widgets (first app to surpass 1 million paid downloads), Fruit Ninja, and more.

The Duke is back, and this time he wants to let us know he’s free of charge. This classic first person shooter had reviewers furious over its release into the Android Market. Earlier in the month Adobe updated its Flash Player to include support for Android 4.0 and while Adobe has already announced its discontinuation of the mobile Flash platform, it will continue supporting the AIR platform.
