Turntable.fm has finally come to Android, allowing you to join in and battle your friends for virtual DJ supremacy. Turntable.fm allows you and your friends to take turns playing DJ to a virtual room of listeners. Listeners get to vote whether the song is awesome or lame and if it receives too many lame votes, it gets skipped. It’s a great way to discover new music and have fun as you chat with friends and listen to an eclectic mix of music.

A couple days ago, Rovio thanked fans for slingshotting Angry Birds past 1 billion downloads with a short video that teased a possible new game. Today, Rovio has confirmed they will, in fact, be releasing a new game entitled Amazing Alex. Amazing Alex is expected to launch in “two months’ time,” and confirms previous rumors that the game would be based on the Casey’s Contraptions game.

Pocket, formerly known as Read It Later, has enjoyed much success since its rebranding, and although its last update was a nice improvement, there were a few things missing. Five million users later and we’re finally seeing a Pocket worth putting our stuff in. The new and improved Pocket 4.1 hit iOS today, giving us Android users a peek at what to expect in the upcoming days.

Believe it or not, it’s been one year since NVIDIA launched its Tegra Zone: a hub for easily finding Tegra optimized games. To celebrate Tegra Zone’s first birthday, NVIDIA has invited us all to partake in the inaugural TegraZone Player’s Choice Awards. To participate, all you have to do is head over to the Tegra Zone and vote for your favorite Tegra powered games.

Google Maps for Android received an update today to add a few more features to an already amazing app. In today’s release, users will be treated to indoor walking directions, nearby offers, and 360° panoramas of the insides of participating restaurants and stores. Unfortunately, if you live outside of the U.S., most of these features will be unavailable.
