If you passed on Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy Nexus in favor of the EVO 4G LTE, your patience is about to be rewarded as Sprint has now opened up pre-orders for the latest and greatest HTC EVO 4G LTE. If you head over to Sprint now, you can put one of these bad boys on hold for yourself (or someone else) and then anxiously await the yet-to-be-announced launch date.

HTC users have been patiently waiting for the next iteration of devices to hit shelves and replace their aging devices. While most carriers have been granting user’s wishes in the form of the HTC One X and One S, Verizon will be filling that need with the DROID Incredible 4G LTE. The sign-up page for the Samsung Galaxy S III has gone live, allowing users to register for up-to-date information (for before-the-date information follow an Android blog such as CoA) regarding the Samsung Galaxy S III U.S. launch. It’s interesting to see all major and regional carriers listed under the “carrier preference” drop-down menu and this indicates Samsung plans to bring the Galaxy S III to as many U.S. carriers as possible. Our phone bills are already mini-car payments and adding digital content purchases to it can result in astronomical monthly bills.

It appears some Verizon Galaxy Nexus owners are being treated to an Android 4.0.4 IMM76K update today. While there’s been no official announcement of the update, it is indeed rolling out as Droid-Life users have been sending in screenshots to back up their claims (even a Verizon store unit was spotted rocking the update). I’ve been checking all day but to no avail.
