I feel like today should be national Verizon news day. Another piece of news coming out of Verizon today is an update to the Motorola DROID Bionic. Software version 5.9.902 for the DROID Bionic is ready to roll and includes many welcomed fixes. For Bionic users plagued by crashes and lock-ups, this hefty update should improve all that.

It looks like Verizon has more than a DROID 4 release scheduled for this Friday. According to Droid-Life, Verizon will re-launch their Double Data promo for 4G LTE devices as well as offer buy-one-get-one on all versions of the DROID RAZR.


It look like those Feb. 10th DROID 4 launch rumors were true. Verizon has finally announced the DROID 4 and it will be hitting shelves this Friday for the reasonable price of $199 with a two-year agreement. The DROID 4 caters to those who still prefer a physical keyboard and features a a five-row QWERTY keyboard with edge-lit keys. It’s by far the most powerful QWERTY keyboard and runs on Verizon’s fast 4G network.


The DROID RAZR and the DROID RAZR MAXX are looking to get an update soon and unfortunately it’s not the one that brings Ice Cream Sandwich. However, it does bring quite a few improvements as you can see from the above image. If you can’t make out what’s new, here’s a nice list for you:


Sprint is hoping to get in on the budget tablet market with its latest announcement of the ZTE Optik, a 7″ Honeycomb tablet that they will be offering for $99 with a 2-year agreement. Contracts aren’t for everybody, but if you don’t mind them, you can get a pretty decent tablet for under $100. The ZTE Optik will be available February 5th and will feature:
