As promised, the HTC DROID DNA is now available on Verizon for the subsidized price of $199.99. There’s a lot I like about this device, however, I simply can’t get past the 16GB internal storage with no room for expansion thanks to the lack of microSD. 16GB just isn’t enough for me but I know it’s just fine for many of you (just look at N4 sales).

Amazon Wireless always offers up a great deal on some of the latest and greatest Android devices. In fact, they’ve just recently dropped the price of the LG Optimus G on AT&T and Sprint to a fantastic $99 with 2-year contract. That’s a cool $100 off the usual subsidized price for a device that’s essentially a souped up Nexus 4 (minus Android 4.2 and the stock experience). I’d take the Optimus G over the Nexus 4 any day and twice on Sundays if it had stock Android, and I’m betting there’s a bunch of you thinking the same thing.

In case you forgot, today is the day the HTC One X+ and One VX are slated to land on AT&T. While we’re not yet seeing the One VX, the One X+ is live and ready to be purchased.

One of the biggest complaints about the Nexus 4 has been its dismal storage capacity. While we’re used to Nexus devices lacking microSD, having 16GB as a maximum storage option just doesn’t cut it these days. It would appear that even T-Mobile was rooting for expandable memory as they are listing the Nexus 4 as being expandable up to 64 GB with a microSD card (oh, how I wish).

Phil over at Android Central has been spending some quality time with the HTC DROID DNA and just so happened to uncover a few surprises. On the back side of the device, to the left of the camera lens, there happens to be a mysterious circle of pinholes. Intriguing to say the least, but when looking for answers, not even HTC’s team members were sure what it was.
