Amazon Wireless always offers up a great deal on some of the latest and greatest Android devices. In fact, they’ve just recently dropped the price of the LG Optimus G on AT&T and Sprint to a fantastic $99 with 2-year contract. That’s a cool $100 off the usual subsidized price for a device that’s essentially a souped up Nexus 4 (minus Android 4.2 and the stock experience). I’d take the Optimus G over the Nexus 4 any day and twice on Sundays if it had stock Android, and I’m betting there’s a bunch of you thinking the same thing.

Cloud storage service provider Box teamed up with LG a while back to offer up 50GB of free storage to those using LG phones and tablets in the U.S. running Android OS 2.1 and above (with display resolution of 320×480 or higher). Since that promotion doesn’t expire until December 31, 2012 and the Nexus 4 is an LG device, anyone in the US with a Nexus 4 is officially eligible for the free 50GB Box Personal account.

In case you forgot, today is the day the HTC One X+ and One VX are slated to land on AT&T. While we’re not yet seeing the One VX, the One X+ is live and ready to be purchased.

It seems like forever ago that Amazon announced its Kindle Fire HD lineup and while they’ve been selling and shipping the 7-inch HD model for quite some time now, customers wanting the larger 8.9-inch model were left to wait until mid-November. Well, it’s mid-November and Amazon is making good on its promise.

If you’ve been following the smartphone market at all this past year, then you’ve already heard this song and dance. Regardless of this broken record, it’s still amazing at how Android managed to cannibalize the smartphone market in such a short time. With that being said, I bet you can guess what I’m going to say next. Yep, Android and Samsung are once again on top when it comes to worldwide smartphone sales.
