If you own an AT&T Motorola Atrix, you may want to check your phone for an update. AT&T has started rolling out software update 4.5.141 and I know what you’re thinking, but unfortunately, it’s not Ice Cream Sandwich. It does however bring a few improvements:

If you’ve been rocking Android 4.0 but missing your Swype, you can now have both. Swype Beta has been updated to version 3.26 and now includes support for Android 4.0. That’s right, you lucky 1% can now enjoy the finger swiping text input software that makes typing (or swyping) a breeze.

Today a German court ruled that most of Motorola’s products infringe on Apple’s slide-to-unlock image patent with the only exception being the slide-the-circle gesture used in the Motorola XOOM. This ruling allows Apple to enforce a permanent injunction against the Motorola products found in violation. Motorola can still appeal the decision therefore Apple would be taking a very big risk enforcing such an injunction at this time. Should the ruling be overturned, Apple would have to reimburse Motorola for any lost sales due to the injunction. Regardless of Apple’s decision, one thing is for sure: Motorola will now have to make changes to their UI.

As we get closer to March, we should start to see companies outline their plans for upgrading devices to Android 4.0. Many have already done so, including Motorola, but today Motorola has expanded on their list of devices, adding a few new ones to the list. While actual dates for upgrades remain open, we at least know that Motorola plans to upgrade the following devices:

The software is able to remove any object that happened to sneak into your shot while static objects remain irremovable. It’s perfect for shots on busy streets or popular landmarks where there may be a lot of passing tourists.
