After a period of inactivity, Samsung has at last initiated its rollout in South Asia and is pushing the beefy Android 4.3 update to all its Galaxy S III smartphones with model number GT-i9305 currently located in India. This much-anticipated update finally brings Android 4.3 Jelly Bean together with support for the recently released Galaxy Gear smartwatch, as well as compatibility for Samsung KNOX.

Cricket Wireless has today started pushing out the much-anticipated Android 4.3 Jelly Bean over-the-air update to all of its locked carrier-branded Samsung Galaxy S III handsets located in the United States. Samsung’s Android 4.4 KitKat updates for the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 are expected to begin their rollout by early January or late February, according to French carrier SFR. After a short break, Samsung is now returning to its European rollout and has started by pushing the beefy Android 4.3 update to all its International Galaxy S III smartphones with the model number, GT-i9305. This much-anticipated update finally brings Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and support for the recently released Galaxy Gear smartwatch — which is designed to make receiving calls, texts and notifications on your handset a little easier to manage.
