If you’re looking to switch carriers or sign up for a new mobile plan, you’re going to want to check out this next offer from Amazon Wireless. Any new customer signing up on either AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint, can pick themselves out a brand new 16GB Samsung Galaxy S III for $99. All you have to do is choose a carrier and color and you’ll be on your way to owning the best available Android smartphone at the lowest available price.

When Samsung released the Galaxy S III to all the major U.S. carriers it was a godsend. It was a smart move by Samsung and allowed consumers the opportunity to have the latest and greatest Android phone, no matter what carrier they were on. Everyone was pretty excited, until T-Mobile came out and priced the Samsung Galaxy S III almost $100 more on contract than every other carrier. T-Mobile customers were pretty much given the shaft and offered little to no relief, until now.

Amazon Wireless continues to bring us some of the best mobile deals available. They’ve just dropped the price of the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III to $139.99 for new users and $149.99 for upgrades. Those are great prices for what amounts to the best available smartphone on the best available carrier.

Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S III has become their most successful smartphone, surpassing 20 million units sold in just 100 days. I can’t say I’m surprised, it’s an excellent device. Samsung did a brilliant job (minus TouchWiz) and makes it quite obvious as to why they are the leading manufacturer of Android devices.

The Samsung Galaxy S III has become the top selling smartphone in the U.S., a title held by Apple’s iPhone 4S since its release. While you can attribute this to a number of reasons, mostly the upcoming launch of the next iPhone, it’s still an achievement to be proud of. The Galaxy S III is more than worthy to hold that top spot, and is the device I personally recommend to anyone asking what phone they should buy. I was lucky enough to review this top seller last month and I can honestly say its praise is well deserved.
