Now here’s something to get excited about. A landing page has gone up for the Verizon Galaxy S III “Developer Edition.” It’s a 32GB, Pebble Blue Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III that comes with a special treat: an unlockable bootloader! At this point in the game, an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S III is as sweet as it gets.

Samsung is a proud sponsor of the 2012 Olympic games, so you know what that means, don’t you? Commercials! Naturally, you can expect the majority of Samsung’s Olympic commercial spots to feature their new flagship Samsung Galaxy S III device, and why wouldn’t they? It’s an amazing phone, and one that coincidentally was designed for humans <—insert smiley face.

At last, the Samsung Galaxy S III and all of its locked bootloader glory, has hit Verizon shelves. Like most other U.S. carriers, the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III will come in a 16 or 32GB, Pebble Blue or Marble White version, and cost $199.99 or $249.99, respectively. It also features your usual U.S. specs, inluding:

If you’ve been holding out for the garnet red Samsung Galaxy S III on AT&T, you’ll be happy to know AT&T will start taking pre-orders for the device starting Sunday July 15. Personally, I’m not feeling it, but to each their own. Plus, all that matters is what’s on the inside… right?

When the Galaxy S III hit U.S. carriers, T-Mobile was apparently the only carrier who failed to get the pricing memo. Magenta gave their customers the shaft by pricing the Galaxy S III $80 higher than every other U.S. carrier. While everyone else was paying $199.99 for a brand new shiny Pebble Blue Galaxy S III, T-Mobile customers had to angst over whether or not to pay an inflated $279.99. Well angst no more my Magenta mob, Wirefly has you covered.
