Anyone up for another Samsung Galaxy S III rumor? Even if you’re not, you’re getting one since there’s not much else to talk about. According to Korean publication DDaily, the Samsung Galaxy S III will have a built-in inductive charger capable of receiving a charge from a power source up to 2 meters away. Why they stopped at 2 meters is beyond me, I mean it’s a rumor, they should have blew our minds with something like 10 meters away. Now that would be a rumor! While inductive charging isn’t a new concept, this would be the first device able to pull a charge from a couple meters away.

A possible test photo from the mythical Samsung Galaxy S III showed up on Picasa recently. According to the EXIF data, it was taken with a Samsung GT-I9300 which just happens to be the purported model number of the GS3. The camera appears to be a 8.1MP and the future appears to be blurry. It’s really a bad photo and we’re not going to be to judgmental but… yea.

ZDNet Korea is reporting that Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy S III will be announced sometime this month with an April launch to follow. These claims appear to come from Cheil Worldwide, Samsung’s marketing and advertising agency, which is planning a huge advertising campaign for the summer Olympics in London. While the Olympics campaign makes sense to us, we’re highly doubtful of a March announcement or April launch.

Remember that impressive Liquipel waterproof coating for smartphones and mobile devices that was being shown off at CES? Well, according to a previously reliable source, it’ll soon be a feature present on Apple’s long-awaited iPhone 5, and Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S III.

If you were hoping to get a look at the Galaxy S II successor this month at MWC, grab yourself a Kleenex because it’s not going to happen. Samsung has confirmed that they will not be unveiling the Samsung Galaxy S III at MWC in Barcelona, but will instead be launching it at a separate Samsung event to be scheduled later this year. Some reports are saying we’ll see it before the summer, but at this point, who knows.
