HEADER Glass Play Store

Since the Explorer launch of Glass, Google has distributed all Glassware through a separate service it specifically set up for downloading apps, which are compatible with the device. Explorers sign into the MyGlass website which enables them to browse and activate new Glass apps, and now it looks like the team at Mountain View HQ are looking to supply apps via the Google Play Store.

In a response letter to Congressman Joe Barton (R-Texas), co-chair of the bipartisan Congressional Privacy Caucus, focusing on new privacy concerns that surround Google Glass users, the team at Mountain View HQ confirmed that the policy will remain the same and will not be amended.

Google has announced some big additions coming to Glass via a software update. Project Glass continues to evolve as the Android-based platform matures each month.

This time around, Google Glass is getting a full-blown web browser for navigating links from search results. Tons of voice commands are also being added to magnify the hands-free experience.
