Google-IO-keynote

You’ve probably already heard about the awesome things announced at Google I/O yesterday, but if you didn’t get a chance to watch it yourself — or you just tuned out because it went on too long — then you can now watch the whole thing online.

We suggest skipping to the best bits, though, because it’s almost four hours long.

Google-WalletFollowing its mammoth I/O keynote yesterday, which saw a number of services updated and new ones introduced, Google has added support for a number of additional devices — including the latest flagships from Samsung and HTC — to its Google Wallet app for Android.

Google unleashed an insane amount of news during its marathon keynote at the I/O developer conference today in California. A new music subscription service, Google Maps update, and messaging platform were just a few of the announcements.

Software and services was the name of the game at I/O this year, and here’s a roundup of everything Google unveiled earlier this afternoon:

Today at Google’s I/O conference the company announced that it will release a modified version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 that will come with the stock version of Android 4.3.

The stock Galaxy S4 will come unlocked out of the box so it can be used on any compatible carrier. The phone will have 16GB of storage and work on both AT&T and T-Mobile with LTE support. Google will sell the modified S4 through Google Play for $649 starting on June 26th.

Well, we can’t say we’re too surprised with this one following this week’s leak, but it’s great to see Google Play game services has been officially confirmed at Google I/O this morning. The service will rival services like Game Center on iOS, and features will include cloud-based game syncing, online multiplayer, and more.
