Following Sprint’s recent rollout of Android 4.3 for its carrier-branded version of the HTC One, HTC has officially tweeted from its U.S. account, notifying One owners on other U.S. carriers that they shouldn’t have too much longer to wait until they receive this much-anticipated software update.

Sprint is in the process of pushing out a rather hefty, much-anticipated over-the-air (OTA) update to all its carrier-branded HTC One handsets. This upgrade brings Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and Sense 5 to the device, in addition to a mass of additional bug fixes and speed optimizations, as well as a stylish new charging animation for when the handset is powered off.

While the iPhone’s Retina display may no longer be king when it comes to pixel count, it’s one of the fastest smartphone displays on the market, easily outpacing all of its rivals.

According to a TouchMark test carried out by Agawi, the Retina display responds more than twice as fast as any of its rivals — including the Galaxy S4 and other high-end Android devices — even on the three-year-old iPhone 4.

Verizon has started pushing out an over-the-air (OTA) update for its branded edition of HTC’s flagship One. This upgrade brings a handful of new features and stability improvements, and although it doesn’t bring any major software improvements, i.e. Android 4.3, it’s still quite a significant update that we would advise all users to download.
