Following its recent financial results, HTC really can’t afford to let its latest smartphones go out of stock — but it appears it may not have much choice. The Taiwanese company is reportedly battling a supply issue affecting the new HTC One mini due to a casing shortage.

HTC has confirmed that the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software will be available for the HTC One Developer Edition by the end of this month. Given that there are now just five days left in September, I think it’s pretty safe to say we may well see the update — which delivers “the latest Sense experience” — this week.
