Sprint is currently pushing out a relatively minor over-the-air stability update to all its carrier-branded HTC One smartphones currently located in the United States. Sadly, this upgrade doesn’t bring much in terms of added functionality, but it does include a handful of ‘system stability improvements,’ all aimed at making a user’s experience better when using the handset.

HTC One smartphones in Europe are now receiving the much awaited Android 4.4.2 update after the first update was pulled by the manufacturer some weeks ago citing difficulties with the ROM. The change log shows that the update brings support for additional WiFi routers, indicating that the initial rollout had issues with WiFi that needed fixing.

British retailer Carphone Warehouse has today announced that it will be selling the new HTC One “just minutes after it is officially announced” on Tuesday, March 25. You’ll be able to purchase the device in select stores from around 4 p.m., and later from the Carphone Warehouse online store.
