LG has begun rolling out its Android 5.0 Lollipop update to unlocked G3 handsets in the U.K., less than three weeks after the update first arrived in Poland. The release weighs in at just over 522MB, making it the G3’s biggest and most significant update yet. In addition to Material Design, it brings a whole host of new features.

Android 5.0 Lollipop is now rolling out to Sony’s Z Ultra Google Play Edition, according to handset owners. In addition to Material Design and other Lollipop goodness, the release brings a new battery saving mode, and a Smart Lock feature that promises to “protect your privacy more conveniently.”

LG is expected to finally launch a second-generation G Flex at the Consumer Electronics Show in January, more than a year after the original brought curved smartphone displays to the masses. The device will be a “major upgrade” over its predecessor, sources claim, and it will maintain the self-healing coating the G Flex has become famous for.

Retailers have been offering some great prices on the LG G Watch for weeks, but its price tag on Google Play has remained the same since the device made its debut back in June. Now Google has finally brought its price down to $99 for Black Friday, and to make the deal even sweeter, all Android Wear watches come with $50 Play Store credit.

That fancy Rolex face you’ve downloaded for your smartwatch won’t be available for much longer if luxury watchmakers get their way. A number of the world’s leading watch brands are clamping down on copycat faces designed for smartwatches and hope to get them banished from the Internet, according to a new report.
