Google has removed almost all of last year’s Google Play Edition devices from Google Play, including the Xperia Z Ultra, the HTC One M7, and the LG G Pad 8.3. The only 2013 devices that remain are the Moto G and the Samsung Galaxy S4, but the latter is currently out of stock and has been for some time.

LG-KizON

It looks like LG plans on rapidly expanding into the wearables market. The company has just announced a new wearable device meant specifically for young toddlers — the LG KizON. The device does not feature any kind of a screen and is mainly meant as a tracking device so that parents can always know where their child is.

Flopsy-Droid

I’d have put good money on Android Wear’s first game being a Flappy Bird clone. Google Play has been inundated with them since the incredible success of the original title, and so it seemed inevitable that someone, somewhere, would be working hard to be the first to bring a flappy game to Google’s new wearable platform.

It’s called Flopsy Droid, and it’s a free download that’s compatible with both the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live.

LG’s new G Watch goes on sale around the world today, and already the device has been given its customary teardown from the repair experts at iFixit. Despite its size, the new Android Wear smartwatch is surprisingly easy to get into, and even easier to repair — earning a repairability score of 9 out of 10.

LG today announced the largest entry in its G Pad tablet family, the G Pad 10.1. Bigger doesn’t necessarily mean better, however. The device, which promises to be ideal for on-the-go media consumption, has relatively disappointing internal specifications — but is aiming to be more affordable.
