Motorola has now started selling the Grip Shells for its Moto G, following the smartphones debut in the United States a couple of weeks ago. These rugged replacement back covers provide added protection for your handset and come in a wide range of of colorways — chalk, black, royal blue, lemon lime and cherry.

The Moto X and G both run on near stock Android with with just a few minor modifications. However, that has not stopped developers from cooking ROMs for the handsets. While CM11 builds are already available for the Moto X, its smaller brother — Moto G — has had to contempt itself with CM10.2 builds, based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

That changes today with the release of unofficial CM11 build for the Moto G, thanks to the hard work of developer dhacker29.

Google has added a new ultra-affordable Android-powered smartphone to its rapidly-growing range of Google Play Edition devices. The Moto G GPE is listed as $179 for the 8GB unlocked model and will work on both AT&T and T-Mobile’s networks in the U.S.

Today, Boost Mobile officially announced that it will be adding Motorola’s budget-friendly smartphone, the Moto G, to its rapidly growing lineup of mid-range Android powered handsets. According to the press release, the handset will cost just $129 on Boost’s ‘no-contract’ $55 Monthly Unlimited Plan or its $3 Daily Unlimited Plan starting from this coming Monday, January 20.

Motorola has today announced that it is bringing its flagship Moto X to the United Kingdom. The device will be available from February 1, and it’ll cost £380 ($624) off-contract or around £25 ($41) on a two-year plan. Unfortunately, it won’t be available with the same customization options that U.S. customers have seen, however.
