U.K. electronics retailer, Clove Technology, has officially announced that it is now selling a range of budget-friendly Moto G hardshell cases and flip covers. The shells are currently retailing at £8.99 ($14.58), whereas, the covers are on sale for the slightly higher price of £18.99 ($30.81).
Good news for those of you in Canada waiting for the new Moto G: the handset is now available to purchase on both TELUS and Koodo Mobile, and you can get it for free when you sign into a new two-year contract. If you want to buy it outright, it’s C$200.
Motorola said shortly after unveiling the Moto X that the handset wouldn’t be coming to Europe — but it seems the company may be changing its mind following the handset’s successful start in the United States.
Motorola has confirmed that the new Moto G will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat when it goes on sale in the United States early next year. Those who have already bought a Moto G — or plan to in the coming weeks — will be upgraded to KitKat by the end of January.
