Moto X owners in the U.K. are finally set to receive the handset’s long-awaited Android 4.4.4 KitKat update. Motorola’s latest release delivers the most recent security fixes from Google, improved camera performance, and a new dialer app.
Earlier today, we saw the Moto X+1 pop-up in some benchmarks revealing its full specifications. Now, pictures of the front panel of the handset have also made their way online courtesy of HelloMotoHK, who also compare it side-by-side to a Moto X.
Another set of Moto X+1 benchmarks have been spotted ahead of the handset’s official unveiling, giving us an even better picture of its internal specifications. Highlights include a 5.2-inch display, a Snapdragon 800 processor, and a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera capable of shooting 4K video.
Following last month’s successful soak test, AT&T is now pushing out the hefty Android 4.4.4 over-the-air (OTA) update to all its carrier-branded Moto X handsets currently located in the U.S. Together with the latest build of the open-source operating system, this upgrade brings a modernized dialer application, the ability to pause video recording within the camera app, as well as the habitual bug fixes and stability improvements.
