Motorola has scheduled a press event for July 28 in New York City with an invite that reads, “Your relationship status is about to change.” The company is expected to announce its third-generation Moto G, and possibly even more.
Motorola takes great pride in its unique Moto Maker tool, which lets users customize their devices when making their order. But as things stand, the only devices available through Moto Maker are the flagship Moto X and the Moto 360.
Now a new report claims the upcoming 2015 Moto G will also join the Moto Maker catalog and become Motorola’s first customizable midrange smartphone.
Motorola’s next-generation Moto G has revealed itself in a series of leaked images ahead of its official debut. The device looks a lot like its predecessor from the front, but it has a redesigned back with dual-LED flash that resembles that of the leaked 2015 Moto X.
