Google is expected to release its Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update later this month, making performance and stability improvements that will first arrive on the Nexus 4, the Nexus 7, the Nexus 10, and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. It’s likely to be the last Jelly Bean update Google releases before announcing Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie in May.

The flaw leaves the handsets open to malicious apps that can access a user’s personal data, completely wipe their data, or worse, brick their handset.
