It was widely expected that the Nexus 5 from Google would also include the always on listening feature as seen on the Moto X, since the Snapdragon S800 processor has a dedicated core for audio processing while barely sipping any power. While the Nexus 5 does have the ‘Ok, Google’ feature, it only works on the home screen, and not when the device screen is turned off.

As it turns out, there is more to Motorola’s Touchless control feature than what meets the eye.

I’ve been using a Nexus 5 for a few weeks now, and in my opinion, its new “Google Experience Launcher” is a huge improvement over the previous stock launcher. But it’s not quite perfect. I still want the option to remove the Google Search widget, and sometimes I’d like to see more icons on the Nexus 5’s 5-inch display, rather than bigger ones.

KitKat Launcher+, a free download from Google Play, gives me those things — and a lot more — and lets me fine tune the launcher on my Nexus 5 — and other Android-powered devices — to my liking.

It was widely expected that Google would be unveiling the successor to the Nexus 10 as well, when it announced the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat. However, its been a month since Google put the Nexus 5 up for sale, but there have been no signs of a Nexus 10 successor being launched.

Well, it looks like Google is either done with 10-inch Nexus tablet form-factor, or it is on the verge of releasing a successor sometime soon.

Google has rolled out a trio of new Nexus 5 ads this week, showcasing a number of features built into its camera app — including Photo Sphere, Auto Awesome, and HDR+. All three clips are just 16 seconds long, and we’ve embedded them below for your convenience.
