The Google Nexus 7 is now available to purchase with a T-Mobile data plan through Google Play. The device is priced at $299 — the same as AT&T’s HSPA+ model — which makes it just $50 more expensive than the Wi-Fi only model. T-Mobile has also announced that it will be expanding the availability of Google’s hugely popular Nexus 4 handset.

The Sony Tablet S could soon have a successor.

Sony unveiled the Xperia Z, its new flagship smartphone, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas last week, and it looks like the Japanese company is planning a new tablet to go with it. Leaked specifications for the Xperia Tablet Z has surfaced online, revealing a 10.1-inch display, LTE connectivity, and a speedy quad-core processor.

AT&T is currently offering new Nexus 7 customers a “special offer” through the Google Play Store, which will see $100 of credit added to your bill when you take out a new two-year data plan. The deal applies to the HSPA+ Nexus 7 and it’s valid until Thursday, February 14. But is it really worth it? We’re not so sure.

The long-awaited Nexus 7 docking station went on sale in the United Kingdom on Monday evening (local time) via the Asus online store. Prices at £25 (approx. $40) the device is marketed as the perfect way to turn your Nexus 7 into an little entertainment hub, and it’s clearly been a big seller. In just a few hours, the dock is already sold out and unavailable to purchase.

With the Consumer Electronics Show now over for another year, manufacturers who didn’t set up a booth at the event are free to unveil new devices again. Asus has become one of the first with the unveiling of its new MeMO Pad, a 7-inch Android tablet that looks a lot like the Nexus 7. Priced at $149, the device will begin shipping later this month.
