OnePlus has already confirmed that its controversial invite system will return with the upcoming OnePlus 2 — but don’t let that put you off. The Chinese startup is also vowing to improve the process this time around to make it a lot less painful.

What is believed to be a second-generation Nexus 5 has appeared in AnTuTu benchmarks ahead of an official unveiling. The device has a performance score that far exceeds that of the latest devices, including the Galaxy S6, seemingly confirming it will boast high-end specifications.

OnePlus this week revealed more OnePlus 2 specifications in a Reddit AMA. The good news is, Chinese startup is promising a bigger battery, a better camera, and a much-improved design.

OnePlus is putting a fingerprint scanner inside its upcoming OnePlus 2, and it promises to be better than any of the scanners we’ve seen on Android devices so far. So good, in fact, that OnePlus claims it’s “faster than Touch ID” on Apple’s iOS devices.
