The default camera app that’s baked into the OnePlus One’s CyanogenMod 11S software doesn’t do its 13-megapixel sensor much justice, so many use a third-party alternative. Now there’s another that could better than anything you’ll find in Google Play.

It’s the default camera app from ColorOS, and it brings features like 4K video recording, the ability to capture 50-megapixel photos, and support for the RAW image format.

The OnePlus One’s latest CyanogenMod 11S update is now rolling out to users. No, it’s not the Lollipop update you’re most looking forward to, but it does include a whole bunch of great improvements — including SwiftKey built-in, and improved audio.

It just got a whole lot easier to get your hands on the OnePlus One. Starting this week, the device will on general sale — with no invite necessary — every single Tuesday through the OnePlus online store.

The OnePlus One was undoubtedly one of the biggest smartphones of 2014. While it may not have sold anywhere near as many units as the Galaxy S5 or the iPhone 6, it still generated more hype and excitement than many of its rivals — thanks mostly to its excellent specifications and tiny price tag.
