A decent smartwatch isn’t cheap, but the upcoming G Watch from LG — one of the first wearables to be powered by Android Wear — could be significantly cheaper than you were expecting. According to one report, the device will available in Europe on July 7, and it’ll cost less than the entry-level Galaxy Gear 2 Neo and the Pebble Steel.

You can now use your Pebble to control music volume on your smartphone and tablet, thanks to a new Pebble app update that’s available now on iOS (and coming soon to Android). It’s accompanied by a version 2.2 firmware update for Pebble watches, which also adds the ability to reorganize the Launcher Menu.

The Pebble is easily one of the highest selling smartwatches in the market today, despite the presence of competitive offerings like the Sony Smartwatch 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Gear from last year. The company however might be looking at a grim 2014, as Google announced its own wearable OS dubbed Android Wear a few days ago.

Following its launch on the Play Store on Tuesday, Pebble is now pushing out a minor stability update for the public version of its Pebble 2.0 application for Android. The upgrade doesn’t bring anything new in terms of functionality, but, thankfully, it does transport some much needed stability improvements, in addition to a fix for a very annoying issue where some users found themselves stuck at the splash screen.

The latest 2.0 update for the Pebble smartwatch will finally bring the much awaited Appstore to the Android version with tons of apps and watch faces to choose from. This new update also completely revamps the user interface of the app, allowing users to browse between several popular categories and even search for popular titles.
