The new Sony Xperia SP looks a lot like the Xperia Z.

Sony has today announced two new mid-range smartphone that give fans a cheaper alternative to its flagship Xperia Z. They’re called the Xperia SP and the Xperia L, and both offer Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The Xperia SP is the slightly better model, with a 4.6-inch 720p display, and an 8-megapixel Exmor RS camera.

Xperia-ZL-US

The unlocked Sony Xperia ZL is heading to the United States after being listed on the official Sony Store. The device will be available in three colors — black, red, and white — but Sony hasn’t yet confirmed its price or its release date. It’s thought, however, that the handset will be available “within the next month.”

Xperia-E-dual

Sony has confirmed that its entry-level Xperia E Dual is making its way to the United States. The $199 device, which offers a 3.5-inch scratch-resistant display and dual-SIM functionality, will be shipping from March 3. Sony has begun accepting orders for the device via its online store.

Xperia-Z-free-headphone

If you live in the United Kingdom and you’re planning on picking up the Xperia Z, then you might want to get your order in as early as possible. Sony is giving those who pre-order before February 27 a free pair of its MDR-1R headphones, which usually sell for $299.99 (approx. £190).
